At Utopia, if a student takes part in karate classes they are eligable for our karate gradings. If a student is part of our Little Ninja’s, this won’t apply to them until they move up into an older class when suited. In 2023, there will be four karate gradings which will be listed below (they are also listed on the calender on the events page). If a student is deemed eligable for a grading, they will be handed a slip to fill at home and bring back to a member of the team to confirm your participation. Advanced belts will have to wait after a certain level (this being blue going to purple onwards) so they will not be put in for gradings until they are due. New members of the club will also miss the first grading depening on how long they’ve been attending Utopia. Time slots will be allocated for each belt so parents and guardians know when to drop off and collect the student. If there is any questions surrounding a students grading, please speak to a member of the team.
